Manuscripts
Every book needs an editor. Even the most well-known and talented authors need someone to review their work. While family and friends can help give feedback on your work, nothing can take the place of professional editing.
Whether you’re self-publishing or sending your manuscript to publishing houses, you’ve put your heart and soul into your work. Sometimes, it’s hard to notice small mistakes in spelling and grammar or inconsistencies in your narrative. A professional editor will go through your manuscript, checking every detail to make sure everything works well together. When the process is finished, you’ll have a polished, professional manuscript ready for publication.
Working with a professional editor can also be an extremely rewarding experience. Your editor can give you valuable feedback to help you reflect on your work and become a better writer. Your experience working with an editor can also help you get comfortable with the publishing process and with the revision process, which is essential in every kind of creative work.

What kind of editing do you need?
Multiple editing types can be helpful for various books, and for writers at different levels.
Line Editing is our standard for manuscript editing. In this process, your editor will provide you with structural feedback on the plot, characters, and setting of your book and line-by-line issues of spelling, grammar, and style. This is a must-have for beginner writers.
Copyediting is less in-depth regarding structural edits but will provide feedback on plot, facts, or style inconsistencies, along with a word-by-word edit to cover issues like spelling and grammar. This is great for nonfiction or for books that may have already gone through an editing process.
Proofreading is the final step before any book is published. You may make significant changes with your line editor or copy editor, so you will need another set of eyes to make the final checks before you send off your manuscript.
